Nah...like Light said, he was killing people even if they murdered someone on accident or were remorseful. People gravitated to Kira because he was getting rid of the true worst of the worst (initially). Higuchi killing others for personal gain would gain no traction and would probably get him caught by L in rapid speed.

Bro they got this man. But I wonder if L is gonna find out about the death note and if light will ever recover his memories if they get the book because if he does L will probably go back to suspecting him
